The Mayflower exit off of I-40 offers single family homes with lake views in the Star Harbor subdivision and condominium communities of Hailstone and Fox Bay. The Lodge at Stillwater currently anchors the development as a whole ownership condo-hotel. However, Extell purchased 2,000 acres and will be further developing this area in the next 20 years with both residential and commercial properties. The Mayflower exit (Exit 8 off Highway 40) is also home to the Jordanelle Gondola on Deer Valley resort property, offering easy access to skiing from this neighborhood.

The Highway 248 (north and northeastern) areas of the Jordanelle include Parks Edge, Black Rock Ridge, The Retreat at Jordanelle, Deer Mountain, Hideout Canyon and Tuhaye golf and social club. This area is growing rapidly, with new subdivisions breaking ground that take advantage of lake views and quick access through the “backdoor” entrance of Park City. These new subdivisions include Park’s Edge, The Retreat at Jordanelle, and Black Rock Ridge. These communities are located in the South Summit School District/Wasatch County, rather than the Park City School District. The condominium and single family home areas are hopefully soon to be connected to the Mayflower Exit via the Jordanelle Parkway. Commercial expansion is possible in the area to complement the Stock Building Supply store, currently existing.
